Where is club training held?
Club training is held at the Gumblossom Courts, Tapping Way, Quinns (near IGA Quinns).
What night is training?
Team training is as follows: Days and times may change depending on coach
9U teams: 3-5pm
10U teams: 5-6pm
12U teams: 4-5.30pm
13U Teams: 5.30-7pm
7U teams: 4-5pm
8U teams: 4-5pm
11U teams: 5-6pm
17U: 5.00-6.30pm & 6.30-8.00pm
Where are games played?
Games are played on the outdoor netball courts at the HBF Arena Joondalup. Courts are located behind the indoor swimming arena.
When are games played?
Teams 7U-12U play on a Saturday.
Teams 13U-Opens play on a Monday night.
Game times are determined by the Joondalup Netball Association and are released prior to the beginning of each Winter season.
What time are games played?
Game times will be released by JNA (Joondalup Netball Association) once all Clubs have registered their teams with the association. This will allow JNA time to ensure court availability vs teams registered. Game times and fixtures are realised prior to the first game of the season.
What is the date of the first game for the 2020 Winter season?
How long is the Winter season of netball?
Winter netball is a 15-game season. Teams 12U-Opens may also have finals following 15 rounds of games.
Do you offer netball other than a Winter season?
Yes we do, we offer Winter, Spring and Summer netball.
When will I know what team I am in?
Once registrations have closed, we begin grading our 12U-17U teams. At the completion of grading, our club registrar begins the mammoth task of compiling teams for all ages. This takes time and consideration. Once complete you will receive an email advising your team, coach and team mates.
What happens if it rains on game day?
Netball is a Winter sport. Games will go ahead in inclement weather, this includes wind, rain and cold. If at any time the weather is deemed dangerous (i.e.: lightening in the proximity), then games may be cancelled for the safety of players, officials and spectators.
What is the compulsory club uniform?
Compulsory uniform items include a choice of the following:
1) Club dress, training/game day top and black boy leg briefs.
2) Club polo, training/game day top and black sport shorts.
We also have optional uniform items that include socks, hoodie, scarf, cap and backpack.
Do you sell second hand club uniforms?
We have a Facebook page for the sale of second hand uniform items.
Can I wear earrings to my game?
No, all jewellery, including piercings, must be removed for all games. The only jewellery permitted to be worn is a wedding band or medic alert bracelet, that must be taped safely for games.
Can I wear netball gloves during games?
Yes, you may wear netball gloves for a game, generally during rain. Nails must still be cut short and umpires will check this prior to the commencement of games.
